Ronaldo Returns As Barca Thrash Juve
FC Barcelona 3-0 Juventus
FC Barcelona claimed the Joan Gamper Trophy after thrashing Juventus 3-0 on Sunday evening at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

With Sergio Aguero still not available, Martin Braithwaite led the attack and was joined by Antoine Griezmann and Memphis Depay, while Cristiano Ronaldo started for the visitors.

It was Depay who made the early impact after opening the scoring after just three minutes with a composed left-footed finish after some good work by Yusuf Demir.

The Catalans had to wait until the 57th minute for the second goal when Braithwaite lost his marker at the corner to head past Wojciech Szczesny.

Ronald Koeman's charges did manage to add a third goal in second-half stoppage time to wrap up a good win ahead of their LaLiga opener next weekend.

Real Madrid 0-0 AC Milan
Real Madrid resumed pre-season action with a goalless draw against AC Milan on Sunday evening.

David Alaba was given a debut in the defence while Gareth Bale was also back in the side alongside Luka Jovic.

While the clash did end goalless, Bale had the chance to get on the scoresheet on 41 minutes but his spot-kick was saved by Mike Maignan.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur finished their pre-season schedule with a 1-0 win over North London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

Son Heung-Min got the game's only goal for the LilyWhites in the 79th minute.

Spurs now look ahead to their Premier League opener against Manchester City on Monday while Arsenal host Brentford this Friday.

Liverpool 1-1 Athletic Bilbao
Liverpool continued their preparations for the new Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao.

Diogo Jota opened the scoring for the Reds on 13 minutes while Alex Berenguer netted for the LaLiga outfit in the 53rd minute.
