Donald Trump on Sunday (Dec 6) tweeted that his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who has led the president's work to undo his election reduction, tested positive for COVID-19.

"Giuliani, by much the best mayor in the history of NYC, and who possesses been performing tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by much!) in the annals of the united states, has tested confident for the China Virus," Trump tweeted, utilizing a term he pertains to the coronavirus broadly decried as racist and fanning conspiracy theories.

"Get better in the near future Rudy, we will carry on!!!" the president added.
