Samsung to Unveil Mid-Priced Phone in Bangkok Next Month

Samsung said Tuesday that it will unveil its new mid-priced Galaxy A smartphone at a media event in Bangkok on April 10.
The Galaxy A series targets young consumers in emerging economies. The Korean electronics giant is expected to showcase the A90, which is the most high-end model of the series, with a pop-up camera which can tilt at different angles.
With the new A series Samsung is desperately trying to stay ahead of Chinese rival Huawei, which has an increasing global hold on the mid-priced market.
