25 February, 2021
Hyundai Department Retailer opens the capital's major mall on Fri in the economical district of Yeouido.
The mall comes with an area of of 89,100 sq.m within an eight-story building without less than seven underground levels that will open to yawning emptiness before coronavirus epidemic eases.
One half of the huge mall consists of an indoor yard and rest areas under a glass ceiling.
Hyundai Department Store's innovative retail center is getting ready because of its grand opening in Seoul on Tuesday.
Some of the stores will get unmanned to save lots of labor costs. Several retailers on the sixth ground will let guests enter with a QR code and make their personal purchases with cellular apps.
But for most its ambition, the mall does not have any outlets for Chanel, Hermès or perhaps Louis Vuitton, the most used three luxury makes among Koreans, and extravagance label addicts are pretty much the only shoppers still opening their wallets found in Korea.
