While Ligue 1 and the Dutch Eredivise cancelled their seasons, the Premier League has made a decision on the current campaign, which is good news for Liverpool.

There were fears that the league could follow in the footsteps of Ligue 1, who awarded the leagu title Paris Saint-Germain on a points-per-game basis.

However, all the clubs reconfirmed their commitment to finishing the existing season with support from the federal government.

Premier League statemet:

At a meeting of Premier League Shareholders today, clubs discussed possible steps towards planning to resume the 2019/20 season, when it is safe and appropriate to take action.
