Dubai pet owners can now walk dogs on this Palm Jumeirah beach

After months spent in the home taking the same daily walks around your neighbourhood, owners in Dubai will be pleased to learn of a fresh dog-friendly spot.
The Palm Jumeirah’s The Pointe beach is open for dog walkers who wish to take a stroll against the background of The Atlantis, providing they follow a few rules.
Nakheel has confirmed to The National that the beach is currently dog friendly, saying signage about this is likely to rise this week.
“Dogs are permitted at The Pointe beach, provided they are continued a leash all the time and do not enter the water,” a Nakheel spokesperson told us. “Owners must also bring their own dog waste bags and get rid of them within an appropriate manner."
“We thank our two - and four - legged guests beforehand for their co-operation.”
The Pointe is a relatively new development on Palm Jumeirah with beachfront restaurants, including Bareburger, Argentina Grill, Per Te and Kyo.
There are also coffee shops, including % Arabica. A number of the dining options at The Pointe are now performing a call and acquire curbside grab option for those attempting to social distance: Chicago Meatpackers and Ibn Hamido offer this option.
There are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants on the Palm Jumeirah, including Chicago Meatpackers (below), and the exterior area of Breeze Beach Bar & Grill in Club Vista Mare along with Barrel 12 and Senara.
