Korean Investors Buy Even more Tesla Inventory as Price Tanks
23 March, 2021
Korean investors owned 1.4 percent of Tesla stocks or 13.04 million shares worth around W9.92 trillion by March 10 (US$1=W1,130). Tesla continues to be the most used U.S. inventory among Korean retail buyers even though the price has tanked.
According to data by the Korea Securities Depository, Tesla's share cost has been declining following peaking at $883.09 on Jan. 26, but Korean buyers continue snapping up the electronic carmaker's shares.
Their Tesla shares increased from 12.42 million in January to 12.84 million in February and also to some 13 million on March 10, however the value fell from W11.7 trillion to W9.92 trillion.
Tesla's share selling price has gone on a good rollercoaster, bottoming out at $563 on March 8, rebounding to $701.81 on March 17, and then fall to $653.16 on March 18.
In money conditions Korean investors' stake will probably be worth a lot more than their combined stocks in Apple, Amazon and Google.
