Man Utd Lose 7-Goal Thriller, Two More Teams Qualify For Last 16
Group A
Copenhagen 4-3 Manchester United

Manchester United dropped to the bottom of Group A after they were edged by Copenhagen in a seven-goal thriller at Parken Stadium.

Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring for Man United with just three minutes on the clock, doubled the lead for the visitors and got his brace just before the half-hour mark.

However, the tie turned on it's head just before the break after the Red Devils were reduced to ten men following the straight red card of Marcus Rashford for violent conduct.

Mohamed Elyounoussi reduced the arrears for Copenhagen on the stroke of half-time and Diogo Goncalves levelled matters for the hosts deep in first-half stoppages from a penalty spot after a handball by Harry Maguire in the box.

Bruno Fernandes gave Erik ten Hag's charges the lead with 21 minutes to go from the penalty spot but there was late drama as Lukas Lerager levelled matters for the Danish side seven minutes before time.

Roony Bardghji snatched the winner for Copenhagen with three minutes remaining.

Bayern Munich 2-1 Galatasaray

Bayern Munich booked their spot in the last 16 after edging Galatasaray 2-1 in Group A at Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

After a relatively quiet first stanza, Harry Kane eventually broke the deadlock for Bayern ten minutes before time and secured the three points with the second goal and got his brace six minutes later.

Cedric Bakambu pulled a goal back for the visitors in stoppage time but it was too little too late

Group B
Arsenal 2-0 Sevilla

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of Group B to four points with two games to spare after beating Sevilla 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium

Leandro Trossard, who was recalled to the starting line-up broke the deadlock for the Gunners on the half-hour mark.

Star man Bukayo Saka settled the nerves with the second goal on 64 minutes, but he did limp off with an injury later in the game.

PSV Eindhoven 1-0 Lens

PSV Eindhoven kept their hopes of making it to the last 16 alive after edging Lens 1-0 in Group B at Philips

Luuk de Jong opened the scoring for PSV on 12 minutes and that was enough to secure the three points.

Lens finished the game with ten men after Morgan Guilavogui got a second booking and was sent off in stoppage time.

Group C
Real Madrid 3-0 Braga

Real Madrid qualified for the round of 16 with two games to spare in Group C after drubbing Braga 3-0 at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu

Braga had a chance to go ahead within the first six minutes after they were awarded a penalty but Alvaro Djalo's penalty was saved by goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

Brahim Diaz eventually broke the deadlock for Los Blancos just before the half-hour mark.

Vinicius Junior got the second goal for Carlo Ancelotti's charges just before the hour-mark and Rodrygo sealed the three points for Madrid just three minutes later.

Napoli 1-1 Union Berlin
Napoli missed the chance to virtually seal a spot in the last 16 after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Union Berlin in Group C at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Matteo Politano broke the deadlock for Napoli just before the interval but David Fofana levelled matters for Union early in the second stanza.

Group D
RB Salzburg 0-1 Inter Milan

Inter Milan booked their spot in the round of 16 with two games to go in Group D after a smash-and-grab 1-0 win over RB Salzburg at Red Bull Arena.

After a goalless first stanza, Lautaro Martinez eventually broke the deadlock for Inter five minutes before time from the penalty spot and that was enough to hand them the three points.

Real Sociedad 3-1 Benfica

Real Sociedad qualified for the last 16 with two games to spare in Group D after thrashing Benfica 3-1 at Reale Arena.

Mikel Merino gave Sociedad the lead within the first six minutes, Mikel Oyarzabal doubled their lead five minutes later and Ander Barrenetxea made it 3-0 with just 21 minutes on the clock.

The Spanish side had a penalty on the half-hour mark but Brais Mendez could not make it 4-0, as his spot-kick hit the post.

Rafa Silva got what proved to be a consolation goal for Benfica early in the second stanza.

The Portuguese side are out of the running after they lost their fourth consecutive game.
