Official: Chelsea Announce Permanent First-Team Exit

Thomas Tuchel continues to trim his Chelsea squad, with the club confirming another permanent departure.
The Blues have announced that defender Davide Zappacosta has completed a permanent move to Serie A outfit Atalanta.
Zappacosta featured in pre-season after returning from his loan spell at Genoa, but he was unlikely to feature with Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta fighting for the right-back spot.
The 29-year-old racked 52 appearances with the Blues during a four-year spell and leaves the club as FA Cup and Europa League winner.
