#OleOut Trends As Salah & Liverpool Humiliate Man Utd
Liverpool and African superstar Mohamed Salah piled more misery on under-fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after humiliating Manchester United with a 5-0 win at Old Trafford.

Premier League
Result: Manchester United 0-5 Liverpool
Date: 24 October 2021
Venue: Old Trafford

Solskjaer made no changes from the side that defeated Atalanta on Wednesday, while Jurgen Klopp dropped Sadio Mane and Joel Matip for Diogo Jota and Ibrahima Konate.

The game got off to a lively start and United should've been ahead inside five minutes when Mason Greenwood slipped in Bruno Fernandes on the far side but he blazed wide.

United were made to rue that miss as the Reds sprung the offside as Salah played in Naby Keita who calmly slotted home in a one-on-one situation.

The poor start continued as Liverpool doubled their lead in the 14th minute when a defensive mix-up between Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw ended with Jota turning home Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross.

United had a couple half chances through Marcus Rashford and Greenwood, who managed to force a save out of Alisson midway through the first half.

However, the Reds got their third goal in the 38th minute as United's failure to clear from a counter-attack saw Keita turn provider to pick out Salah for the near-post finish.

It got worse on the stroke of halftime as Salah completed his brace with a first-time finish at the near post after being picked out by Jota in the box.

Salah and Liverpool showed no signs of slowing down in the second half as Jordan Henderson's fine pass found Salah, who took one touch before lobbing de Gea to complete his hat-trick.

The hosts were then reduced to 10 men on the hour mark as Pogba, who came on at halftime, was sent off for a two-footed challenge on Naby Keita after a VAR review.

Klopp brought on the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mane in the final 20 minutes of the encounter, where the visitors simply passed the ball around to round off a big win.
