Premier League
Result: Newcastle United 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Venue: St James' Park
The Magpies made a flying start to the match as they took the lead after just one minute and seven seconds when Javier Manquillo got on the overlap down the right-hand side and squared the ball into the box for Callum Wilson, who got in front of his marker and headed home.
Spurs equalised in the 17th minute. Tanguy Ndombele received the ball in a central position from 18 yards out from a cutback from Sergio Reguilon and curled a sumptuous effort into the right-hand corner with the Newcastle defence guilty of allowing him too much time.
Kane grabbed his first Premier League goal of the season after it was initially ruled out for offside before being given after a VAR review. Hojbjerg's well-executed ball over the top put Kane through on goal, who lobbed it over the onrushing Karl Darlow and into the back of the net with Manquillo having played the Spurs captain onside.
Nuno Espirito's side were playing with some panache and almost got the third when Son Heung-Min whipped a brilliant corner into the box and it was met by the head of Lucas Moura at the near post, who glanced it towards the top left corner of the net but it struck the top of the crossbar.
The game had to be halted late in the half due to a medical emegerncy involving a supporter, who was later stabilised and taken to hospital.
After such a promising start, the hosts were falling apart at the back as Son added the third in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time. Moura did brilliantly on the edge of the box to find Kane in behind the Newcastle defence and the striker then slid it across goal for Son to fire in from close range.
It was all Tottenham after the break as Kane switched the ball well and found Ndombele down the left wing, who cut inside and then fired a powerful effort towards goal. However, it flew well wide of the Newcastle goal.
Things went from bad to worse for the Magpies in the 83rd minute when Jonjo Shelvey was sent off after being shown a second yellow card for pulling down Reguilon.
The conclusion of the game was made interesting as Steve Bruce's side pulled a goal back with a couple of minutes to go after Eric Dier put the ball into his own net from Isaac Hayden's free-kick, but Spurs kept their composure in the closing stages and secured the three points.
