Shock Club Approached Messi
After superstar Lionel Messi fell out with FC Barcelona’s board earlier this month, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was thought to have been offered a getaway route from a shock club.

The 32-year-old hit out at Catalan club sporting director Eric Abidal on Instagram at the start of the month following the Frenchman blamed the Barca players for the sacking of Ernesto Valverde.

Messi was furious that fingers have been pointed at him and his teammates, and demanded the club took more responsibility for just how they handled the former boss’ dismissal.

Following spat, the Argentine was reportedly on the radars of plenty top clubs across Europe, but a fresh story claims he was approached by an MLS franchise.

According to journalist and broadcaster John E. Rojas, LA Galaxy manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto was believed to call the Blaugrana captain’s dad, who's his agent, to go over a potential move for the forward.

The telephone call was reported to occur after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s exit from the club, which was likely to release a whole lot of wages for the Galaxy to invest.

While the report didn't conclude Messi’s agent’s response, it really is safe to assume the 2019 Ballon d’or winner will be staying at Barca for now.
