This is a conscious decision never to act in my own first production

Also amid the pandemic through most of 2020, Richa Chadha had a significant busy year with content featuring her streaming over digital platforms. Along with a host of enjoyable new assignments, the actress as well launched her production home along with beau Ali Fazal. Having now converted into a maker, her first project can be a film titled Young girls Will Be Girls. Many of her peers from the sector have forayed into the development space before her. However, Richa, who will be rolling out her initial film soon, will not be performing in it. Richa says, "Your choice is a mindful one. I will be present throughout the shoot because I feel that I have too much to learn. The theory is to focus on one specific component, which is production, instead of dividing my attention between multiple aspects of the film. Ali and I feel that people can carry out that at a later time. Since I am not used to this, I want to focus fully, and thankfully, I have a capable and experienced group of co-suppliers who've been behind different award-winning films that have likewise travelled to festivals. At the moment, we plan to get started on shooting in 2022."

In 2018, Richa and a good friend of hers were seen at the NFDC Film Bazaar in Goa, making a presentation for a film that they aimed to collaborate on. Richa, in those days, wanted to create it and her school buddy was likely to immediate it. Bring this up, and Richa says, "This can be a same script we had pitched. Women Will Be Young ladies is written by my friend Shuchi Talati and she's the director, also. The film is approximately a mother-daughter relationship."

While Richa has manufactured her move into production, she's also posting her first screenplay. "I am writing my own project, which is a comedy. We plan to produce that, also. I didn't have an instant to breathe between October 2020 and April 2021. Today, since we're under lockdown, I'm spending my period writing it. A writer-actor friend is certainly mentoring me through the procedure," she says.
