Wenger Names Two Stars To Replace CR7 & Messi, Makes Surprise England Claim
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has named both players he believes will rule world football after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and in addition made a surprise England claim.

The Frenchman, who's now FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development, has named his countryman Kylian Mbappe and Neymar as both players likeliest to dominate from Messi and Ronaldo, who are 32 and 35 years old, respectively, and added that he thinks one of the game's next superstars could result from England.

"We've never seen players like Messi and Ronaldo, who can be absolutely creative in virtually any tight situation," he told talkSPORT.

"These players are actually getting to an end.

"It's now about the next generation and another generation could be French. Right now, the leader could be Mbappe. Of course, Neymar, we realize.

"But England I believe includes a good chance. Now they are doing perfectly at youth level.

"They have done well with Gareth Southgate at the World Cup. I was hoping, at the European Championship, they might be among the contenders."

Messi and Ronaldo have won 11 of days gone by 12 Ballons d'Or, but Mbappe has finished in seventh, fourth and sixth position over the past 3 years despite being just 21 years old.
