Messi's Ultimate Teammates XI Revealed

With Lionel Messi being arguably the best footballer ever, nearly every player dreams of playing alongside the Argentina legend. His ultimate teammates XI has been revealed, and there is one big-name absentee!
Over the years, a number of the game's biggest names have starred alongside Messi, and the Daily Mirror has now released a star-studded starting XI of the players who have made the most appearances alongside the Barca legend, in a functional 4-3-3 formation.
Having shared the pitch with Messi on 353 occasions, former Spain international Victor Valdes, who later played for the likes of Manchester United, features in goal ahead of current Barca shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Valdes is supported by an impregnable back four consisting Brazil legend Dani Alves, Messi's countryman Javier Mascherano, and the Spanish duo of Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba, although there is absolutely no place for former club captain and defensive juggernaut Carles Puyol.
Sergio Busquets occupies a deep-lying role in midfield, behind Barca greats Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, with the trio boasting exactly 1 400 combined appearances alongside Messi.
The attack is equally talent-filled, with current Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar starring alongside Pedro and prolific Uruguay striker Luis Suarez at the very top end of the pitch.
