Barca Set For Massive Clear-Out? Only 3 Stars will not to be Sold
19 April, 2020
So that they can build for next season, FC Barcelona are said to be planning a huge clear-out but only three first team stars are 'safe from not being sold'.
According to ESPN, the Spanish will be hit hard by the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic as the season remains suspended.
Howevr, it really is now being claimed that as the club prepare mass clear-out, only Lionel Messi, Frenkie de Jong and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen will never be sold in the off-season.
In addition, it believed that the club will get started the clear-out so that they can raise funds for new players, while the club have already secured two new signings in Francisco Trincao (€31million) and talented winger Pedri (€5million).
One player who should be sold is Ousmane Dembele, according to Former Barcelona star Rivaldo who feels has taken enough time to establish himself in Spain.
“Ousmane Dembele signed for Barcelona almost 3 years ago and he has already had enough time to determine himself in the club and prove his value. It is possible that he will never show his quality at the club," Rivaldo told Betfair.
“He is still a new player with huge potential, but I believe this summer may be the right chance for Barcelona to sell and even exchange him for a new player they're chasing already.
“He's been unlucky with injuries, but he could also have tried to provide more at some moments.
“Things haven't gone according to expectations and he could possibly be in a position to revive his career at another club where he'll feel more confident to play at his best.
“Barcelona appears to be trying to sign Neymar and Lautaro Martinez, so Dembele will probably struggle to get in the first team next season.
“Additionally, Barcelona would have to reduce its squad and earn some cash if they actually want to succeed in attracting their current targets. To sign new players, others must leave.”
