With Lionel Messi having met and faced many great footballers throughout his career, he has now named a star he was so in awe of this he couldn't even look him in the attention if they first met.
The Argentine can look back at 16 years of professional football during, which he has made 718 first-team appearances for FC Barcelona and played with some of the greatest players of his generation.
One of them was Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who joined Barca through the earlier stages of Messi's career, and the 32-year-old has recalled he felt when he first met him.
"The first day that he came in the dressing room, I didn't dare look him in the eyes," Messi told L'Equipe.
"I knew all that he previously achieved in England.
"He already had an image that was established, and suddenly we were in the same team.
"It's a sort of admiration, what I felt for Henry.
"I loved the ease with which he could execute."
By enough time Henry joined Barcelona, he previously already won seven trophies at club level, included in this two Premier League titles, in addition to the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2000 UEFA European Championship.
He managed to add seven trophies to his cabinet during his time with the Catalan giants and was part of Pep Guardiola's team that won the sextuple in 2009 2009.
