Reports: Liverpool Want Brazilian Dubbed 'The Next Neymar'
20 May, 2020
With Jurgen Klopp reported to be keen to include reinforcements to his squad within the next transfer window, Liverpool have been linked with a new player who has been dubbed "another Neymar".
The German tactician didn't spend big in the last two transfer windows, but will probably freshen up his squad following the 2019/20 campaign.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Reds want to sign Brazilian wonderkid Talles Magno, who has often been likened to Neymar.
The 17-year-old has recently played almost a complete season for Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in the country's top division.
He is also a normal for Brazil's U17 side and is undoubtedly among the brightest talents from his homeland.
Vasco, though, seem to maintain financial trouble, and with debts mounting, it really is understood they have to sell players to balance the books.
Up to now, only Benfica have made an offer for the player, reported to be worth £2.5 million (R56 million), but that was rejected, although it has been claimed he could be available for a low cost.
Magno has played for most of Brazil's youth national teams, which could make him eligible for a work permit to play in England.
