Ronaldo Responds To Links With Beckham’s Club
03 March, 2020
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have both been associated with David Beckham’s MLS franchise, and today the Portuguese superstar has responded to the rumours linking him with a move from Juventus.
Despite the Bianconeri striker being in fine form in Italy, the 35-year-old might be at the stage of his career where he considers retirement, or at least where he'll retire.
Many believe Inter Miami FC is actually a potential destination for the Portuguese striker in future, with Beckham recently admitting that he would like to have the five-time Ballon d’Or winner on his books.
However, speaking in a recent interview, Ronaldo insisted he's happy at Juventus.
"I’m happy," he told Sky Sports.
"I’m in the best club in Italy, I’m playing alongside the very best players. I’m happy we won trophies this past year - which year I am hoping to win aswell.
"As a person I am happy. I visited Juventus to score goals and do my best and I am happy."
Ronaldo has scored 25 goals in 31 matches this season for Juve this season, assisting a further three strikes.
