Spurs Halt Liverpool's Winning Run In Thrilling Draw
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool shared the spoils as they played to a thrilling 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Antonio Conte made five changes to his side with Emerson, Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon and Delle Alli replacing Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn, Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Pierlugi Gollini. Jurgen Klopp made three alterations as Naby Keita, James Milner and Morton came in for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson and Thiago.

Spurs took the lead with just over ten minutes gone when Tanguy Ndombele's through ball down the right-hand side of the box was clinically finished by Harry Kane on the slide into the far corner after the England captain had got there just before Moussa Konate.

Soon after, Kane turned provider after a fast Tottenham break as he lofted the ball to Son Heung-Min at the back post, who was unmarked but just could not get the desired impact on the stretch as it went wide.

The Reds equalised ten minutes before half-time. Ben Davies intercepted a cross from Mane and it fell to Andy Robertson, who cut it back for Diogo Jota whose pinpoint header wrongfooted Hugo Lloris and found the back of the net.

It was a thrilling encounter with both sides showing their attacking prowess. Lloris kept the scores level shortly before half-time with an excellent double save to deny Trent Alexander-Arnold twice.

Kane was guilty of wasting quite a few chances in the match and should have scored when he got on the end of a flick-on from Son's corner from the left flank, but headed over with the goal at his mercy.

Robertson added a goal to his assist to give Jurgen Klopp's side the lead with 20 minutes to go. Salah's header was saved and Lloris saved the rebound from Mane as it went to the waiting Alexander-Arnold, who drilled it back into the box for Robertson to finish from close range.

The Scotland left-back went from hero to zero soon afterwards when he was red-carded for an atrocious hack on Emerson as he got nowhere near the ball in a moment of madness.

However, Spurs failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage and in the end the sides could not be separated.
