Bayern Munich proved too strong for Freiburg after running out 4-1 winners at the Europa-Park Stadion.

Leon Goretzka put Bayern ahead in the 58th minute, but the visitors were pegged back by Nils Petersen's equaliser on 63 minutes.

However, Bayern took control in the final 20 minutes thanks to goals from Serge Gnabry, Kinglsey Coman and Marcel Sabitzer.

Borussia Dormtund 1-4 RB Leipzig

Borussia Dortmund slipped nine points behind Bayern Munich after suffering a 4-1 loss to RB Leipzig on Saturday night. Konrad Laimer bagged a quick-fire brace to put Leipzig 2-0 up, before Christopher Nkunku added a third on 57 minutes. Donyell Malen pulled a goal back for Dortmund in the 84th minute, although Dani Olmo got Leipzig's fourth goal two minutes later.

Bayer Leverkusen cemented third spot in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 success over Hertha Berlin.

First-half goals from Lucas Alario and Karim Bellarabi were enough to get the job done for Leverkusen, while Vladimir Darida's strike for Berlin proved to be consolation.

Hoffenheim 1-2 Bochum

Bochuma snapped a two-game losing run after defeating Hoffenheim 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

A brace from Takuma Asano steered the visitors to victory and cancelled out David Raum's 54th minute strike for the home side.

Arminia Bielefeld 1-1 Stuttgart

Arminia Bielefeld kept their survival hopes alive with a 1-1 draw against Stuttgart at SchücoArena on Saturday.

Sasa Kalajdzic got the scoring underway in the 25th minute for the visitors, while Arminia got the equaliser through Florian Kruger.
