Man Utd Transfers News: Five Out, Two In?
Although Manchester United are yet to bring in any new signings in this January window, the club could lure two certain players to England before the month ends, while there are five first-team stars strongly linked with an exit.

With Ralf Rangnick said to be eager to strengthen his side's midfield, which has been widely identified as an area of concern, two targets have emerged despite there being just a week and a half left of the current window.

According to Sport Bild, the 63-year-old interim boss believes RB Leipzig and Mali star Amadou Haidara would be a good addition to his team and is pressing to sign the midfielder this January.

The 23-year-old was signed by the Bundesliga side during Rangnick's spell in charge of the club and, therefore, would likely require little adjusting to the coach's philosophy and managerial style.

The report, however, also suggests that United would first need to move on one or two high-earning players before the board sanctions a bid for Haidara.

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, who represents Switzerland on the international stage, is also said to be a target for Rangnick, although there could be some complications around United transfers this month.

The experienced manager is set to be permanently replaced in the hot seat at the end of the season when he heads into a two-year consultancy role, which could leave Haidara and Zakaria unsure about their long-term futures.

In terms of potential outgoings, Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek face an uncertain few days as clubs approach the 20-time English giants for their services, with both players understood to be on Newcastle United's radar.

Anthony Martial, meanwhile, has asked to leave the club this month but is reportedly worried he is being priced out of an exit, with United looking for interested suitors to pay his full wages should he depart on loan.
