Two New Signings Already Set To Leave Barca?
11 August, 2022
In what would be yet another shock twist in Barcelona's transfer window, two of the club's new signings could reportedly leave before this coming weekend.
Rumours doing the rounds in Europe suggest new arrivals Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie have the option to terminate their contracts in Spain before Saturday.
According to ESPN, the defender and midfielder could go this route if the club fails to register them in time for the Blaugrana's first LaLiga match of the season against Rayo Vallecano this weekend.

Both the former Chelsea and AC Milan stars were lured to Spain as free agents earlier in the transfer window, but are yet to be registered due to the club's ongoing financial issues, along with Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde.Christensen and Kessie, however, have special clauses in their deals at the Camp Nou that would allow them to part ways with the Blaugrana should Joan Laporta not be able to cut costs in time for Saturday.
On top of the players who have been brought in, the new contracts for Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto have also not yet been formalised due to Barcelona's economic situation.
It is believed president Laporta is confident LaLiga will accept the latest documents he and his staff have submitted, although this does not appear to be guaranteed.
